A poor defensive break off the perch by a VFA-122 student in an F/A-18F Super Hornet has found the F-5N of Lt Cmdr Geoff "Frogger" Hughes of VFC-111 coming off a killing 20mm cannon pass. Leaving the hapless nugget's IP fuming in the pit of the doomed Rhino, "Frogger" rips his nimble little F-5 up and hard right to go "two circle" with their leader, another VFA-122 IP in a single seat E model off in the distance just now pulling back into the fight after extending for energy. The end game of this fight won't be nearly as easy for Frogger, but with one valid kill already in the bag it'll be a hell of a lot more fun to go to the debrief.
